The Animal Feed Manufacturers Association (AFMA) serves as the official representative body of the South African feed industry within the livestock sector and plays a pivotal role in the broader agricultural environment. AFMA comprises animal feed and ingredient manufacturers, along with feed ingredient suppliers. Notably, the association represents a significant share, encompassing 99% of broiler feed production and 58% of overall animal feed production in South Africa.
